A little bit about myself, I am from a small town in the middle of no where-Iowa. I attend Iowa State University with hopes of earning my degree in Family and Consumer Science Education. However, my dream job would be to own a bakery someday. Back home I dabble in the baking and selling of cupcakes, but it is hard to keep the business going when I am in school. To keep my baking mind satisfied, I'm always mixing up new things for my roommates. To take it one step further, I'm going to start blogging about all of my baking endeavors. I'll share the fantastic finds, the failures, and the flops.
My goal is to have average people like me, slap on some oven mitts and realize that baking can be easy, relaxing, creative, and rewarding. I want to spark interest in people to try something they've never tried before. If you're a health nut, this blog wont be for you. I love ewwy, goey, chocolate filled, over-the-top, rich, mouth-watering sweets....and I'm not scared of a few calories. Life is short- treat yourself, treat your co-workers, treat your family, treat your friends...and ALWAYS
